About this Workshop
In this one-day workshop, you’ll be introduced to the art of gumpaste flowers through hands-on instruction and thoughtful, methodical creation. Whether you’re a baker, cake decorator, hobbyist, or simply curious about learning a new medium, this class is designed to meet you where you are.
What you’ll learn
What gumpaste is and how it can be colored, cut, manipulated, dusted and wired to create life-like sugar flowers and leaves.
You’ll create your own gumpaste hydrangea and foliage branches displayed on a faux single tier- focusing on process, technique and the joy of working with your hands. No baking or decorating experience is required—just a willingness to learn and explore!

Join us at Sapphire and Lace Design’s Flower Cottage for a full-day experience, packed with gentle instruction and creativity. You needn’t bring anything but yourself, all working materials will be provided for you, for in-class use. There will be a provided lunch (yum!) This class is open to anyone regardless of skill level, beginners welcome!
Class tuition is $350 per student
